Description
The Cardiac Care Unit nurse works 3x12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with up to every other shift and weekend availability. The role requires at least two years of experience, BLS and ACLS certification, and experience in cardiac telemetry and progressive care units. Responsibilities include caring for acute coronary syndrome, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, syncope, stable STEMI and NSTEMI, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and ICD procedures, heart failure, and overflow progressive-care patients, while using rapid response teams, central and PICC lines, CVP monitoring, and Epic.
