Description
The Registered Nurse provides and coordinates nursing care, nursing services, and health education for nursing-home residents under the direction of the Director of Nursing. The role supervises nursing assistants and other team members, administers medications and treatments, performs resident assessments, implements physician orders, maintains medication and equipment records, and develops care plans. It requires a current RN license, CPR certification, gerontological nursing interest, and preferably two years of long-term care experience; basic computer and electronic medical record skills are also preferred. The position offers health, paid time off, retirement, flexible scheduling, and other benefits, with pay of $30–$32 per hour based on experience.
