Halton Healthcare is hiring a Program-Based Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect nursing care across designated units and sites, including Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Milton District Hospital, and Georgetown Hospital. The role supports staffing, vacancy coverage, sick-call replacement, leaves of absence, surge capacity, education, onboarding, and other program priorities, with assignments based on patient needs, operational requirements, and the nurse’s scope and competency. The position requires current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, Basic Life Support certification, recent Emergency Department clinical experience, and the ability to work across multiple sites and rotating 12-hour shifts. The salary is $41.15 to $58.98 per hour, and internal applications were due by October 1, 2026.
