Description
The Registered Nurse – RCC-Extended Recovery Care provides post-surgical and post-endoscopic nursing care in a six-bed, 72-hour recovery care suite. Responsibilities include patient admission and handoff, Phase 3 post-anesthesia assessment and monitoring, medication and IV administration, documentation, post-operative education, rounding, point-of-care testing, care coordination, specimen handling, equipment and supply checks, food services, and collaboration with ASC and RCC healthcare teams. The role requires an Illinois Registered Nurse license, recent post-anesthesia, acute-care medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgical experience, CPR certification within 30 days, and ACLS certification within six months.
