Description
The RN Designee acts as a substitute for the Supervisor of Assisted Living Services Agency (SALSA) in a senior living community in Southbury, Connecticut. The full-time, salaried role manages nursing and assisted living staff, assigns residents, coordinates care and ancillary services, oversees medication administration, participates in quality assurance and on-call coverage, trains client care aides, and serves as a liaison with families and health-care agencies. The position requires a current Connecticut Registered Nurse License, at least two years of full-time or full-time-equivalent nursing experience including one year in home health care or a community health program, computer proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
