Description
The Registered Nurse performs age-specific plans of care for designated NICU patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, documentation, treatment administration, skin care, medication administration, patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination with physicians and other care-team members. The role requires at least two years of Level IV NICU experience, BLS and NRP Advanced certifications, an associate degree in nursing, and a current New York State or Connecticut Registered Professional Nurse license.
