Description
The 13-week Clinical Review and Auto Offer is for a nurse role in 4 East, UVA’s acute and intermediate care unit serving thoracic, cardiac, and vascular surgical patients. The unit includes 22 acute-care beds and six intermediate-monitoring unit beds, with nurse-patient ratios of 4 or 5:1 in acute care and 3:1 in the intermediate unit. The role requires BLS, ACLS preferred, two years of experience, Epic experience, and adherence to UVA’s float policy; a VA license pending may be submitted. Scheduling offers 36 or 48 hours, with every other weekend and holiday availability, and block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
