The Maryland School for the Deaf is hiring a part-time, on-call substitute Registered Nurse for the 2026–2027 school year at its Frederick campus. The role provides direct nursing care to students, including administering medications, assessing and monitoring medical and emotional health, maintaining health records, and maintaining the student health center. No prior experience is required, but pediatric, school, or camp nursing experience and American Sign Language knowledge are preferred. Applicants must hold a current Maryland or multi-state Registered Nurse license and may be eligible for subsidized health benefits if they work at least 30 hours per week.
