Description
The Registered Pharmacy Technician supports the Pharmacist with routine and emergency drug acquisition, disposition, handling, storage, accountability, and administration; replenishes inventory at selected Article 28 sites, including driving medications; prepares LVP, PB, and TPN solutions under supervision; manages controlled-substance procedures; completes pharmacy inspections; and assists in training and supervising departmental personnel. The role requires a high school diploma, current New York State Registered Pharmacy Technician license and registration, current PTCB or NHA certification, at least one year of related experience, a valid New York driver's license, and the ability to prioritize and oversee volunteer tasks.
