Description
Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital is hiring a temporary Registered Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist with routine, non-judgmental pharmaceutical services, including medication dispensing, inventory control, Omnicell restocking, cycle counts, inspections, transportation, and clerical work. The role rotates by department and shift, requires a high school diploma, a current New York State Registered Pharmacy Technician license and registration, and PTCB or NHA certification; pharmacy technician experience and sterile compounding experience are preferred. The position may end at any time and requires pre-employment physical, reference, drug-screening, and regulatory checks.
