UHN is hiring one permanent part-time Registered Practical Nurse for its Brain Program – Stroke 9 South at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute – University Centre. The role provides compassionate, collaborative, and competent care to neurological patients, including education, care planning, assessment, monitoring, tracheal and tube-feeding care, bowel and bladder management, and behavioural support. The position requires a current Ontario Registered Practical Nurse certificate, Basic Cardiac Life Support, medication and medical asepsis certificates, recent rehabilitation nursing experience, and the ability to care for patients with complex medical, cognitive, and physical needs. The schedule is 18.75 hours per week across day, evening, night, weekday, and weekend shifts, with a wage range of $38.01–$39.02 per hour.
