Description
The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders under qualified medical direction, including diagnostic testing, therapeutics, monitoring, rehabilitation, care planning, research, student and orientee precepting, and patient and family education. The role requires 1–3 years of critical care experience, an approved respiratory program, 62 semester hours of college credit, New Jersey licensure, National Board of Respiratory Care registration, BLS, and ACLS, with PALS and perinatal or pediatric specialty credentials desirable. It is a per-diem position with a minimum starting rate of $50.00 and offers healthcare coverage for regularly budgeted positions of at least 30 hours per week.
