Description
The City of Hesperia’s Public Works Department is hiring a part-time Registered Veterinary Technician to provide medical and veterinary care to animals in the shelter, monitor and safeguard medicines and controlled substances, and lead Senior Animal Care Technicians. The role also includes caring for impounded animals, maintaining facilities, and assisting citizens with animal reclamation or adoption. The position requires a valid California class C driver’s license, the ability to obtain Registered Veterinary Technician licensure, physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and participation in a rotating schedule covering weekends, holidays, and evenings.
