Description
The Reintegration Mentor supports male youth in a secure residential treatment program in Hamden, Connecticut. The role collaborates with clinicians, families, community resources, probation officers, and other providers; reinforces treatment plans; facilitates team meetings; helps youth transition to community after-care; provides ongoing support and role modeling; and uses verbal and physical de-escalation techniques when necessary. The position pays $28.24 per hour, requires a flexible schedule including on-call, evening, and weekend coverage, and requires a valid Connecticut driver’s license and reliable transportation. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with youth, residential treatment, crisis intervention, and family engagement are preferred or considered, while bilingual English-Spanish ability is preferred.
