Description
The Protective Relay Technician will perform maintenance, installation, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of protective relays, control circuits, and related equipment at electric transmission, substation, and mobile substation facilities. The role requires knowledge of protective relaying, AC and DC electrical systems, substation drawings, electronic diagnostic equipment, safety procedures, and utility operations, along with an associate degree or equivalent training and at least five years of hands-on utility experience. The position may require travel to regional worksites, driving a company vehicle, and availability for emergencies and overtime.
