Description
The Relay Testing Specialist will conduct both onsite and remote testing of protection and control equipment for various projects, including substations, distributed energy resources, renewable energy installations like solar and wind, and distribution recloser controllers. They will collaborate with leadership and specialized protection and control engineers, utilizing tools such as Doble and Omicron test sets and software to develop test plans, execute testing, and generate detailed reports. The role involves witnessing and troubleshooting diverse devices, programming SEL RTACs, and collecting equipment data for protection and arc flash studies. The specialist will primarily work in the USA, particularly Texas, requiring occasional travel.
