Description
Antares is hiring a Reliability Engineer to own quantitative reliability analysis for its R1 microreactor. The role develops and maintains reliability, availability, and capacity-factor models; establishes reliability targets; analyzes failure modes and component degradation; supports DFMEA, FMEA, fault-tree, and reliability-growth activities; and translates reliability requirements into design and operational decisions. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and experience with reliability, root-cause, failure, or statistical analysis on complex hardware systems, with nuclear, aerospace, defense, or other safety-critical hardware experience preferred. The work is based in Torrance, California.
