Lockheed Martin is hiring a Staff Design‑for‑Reliability Engineer to serve as the technical authority for reliability and maintainability of capital equipment used in production, test labs, and major campuses. The role covers reliability requirements and risk assessments, SOW and specification development, trade studies, vendor design reviews, commissioning support, handover documentation, and mentorship of facilities engineers, project managers, and maintenance technicians. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, at least five years of reliability-engineering experience in manufacturing, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills; an advanced degree and supplier-assessment experience are desired. The full-time salary range is $104,900 to $194,700, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, and other benefits.
