Description
Shield AI is hiring a Reliability Modeling Engineer to own the reliability model and failure-prediction strategy for its V-BAT unmanned aircraft system. The role builds quantitative reliability models, fault trees, and failure-rate predictions from field, industry, and test data; supports design-for-reliability decisions; leads root-cause investigations and corrective actions; runs reliability and production screening campaigns; and tracks reliability metrics. The position requires a degree in engineering, mathematics, or statistics and at least five years of reliability or surety engineering experience in a high-consequence industry, with preferred experience in RAM, Weibull analysis, reliability software, government standards, FRACAS, and unmanned aircraft systems.
