Description
The CADO General Relief Worker provides as-needed, on-shift support to adults with disabilities in Calgary’s community-based Calgary Alternative Day Options program. Responsibilities include establishing professional boundaries, helping clients develop and monitor Individual Support Plan goals, supporting independence in daily living, community inclusion, recreation, and health-related matters, and completing client and agency paperwork. The role requires post-secondary education in Human Services, current Emergency or Standard First Aid with CPR/AED, a satisfactory vulnerable-sector police information check, and strong communication and confidentiality skills; knowledge of supporting adults with developmental disabilities is preferred.
