Description
GHD is hiring an Environmental Remediation System Technician for on-site work at a client project in the central coast region of California. The role operates, maintains, and monitors groundwater collection and extraction systems, conveyance pumps and lines, and treatment systems; oversees remedial contractors; performs environmental compliance monitoring and groundwater sampling; responds to system alarms; and documents field work. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least five years of experience with remediation treatment systems and environmental field work, mechanical troubleshooting ability, and OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification; an associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred. The salary range is $34.00-$58.00 per hour based on experience.
