Initiate Government Solutions (IGS), a woman-owned small business and fully remote IT services provider supporting federal partners, is hiring a remote Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale data ingestion and transformation pipelines, cloud-native data solutions, and Lakehouse-based data assets for a federal customer. The role focuses on Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Apache Kafka, Python/PySpark, SQL, data warehousing, CI/CD, IaC, data quality, and cloud modernization, with remote daily work and possible occasional onsite client meetings. Candidates need 5+ years of enterprise data engineering experience, the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
