Description
The Senior Data Engineer will build, maintain, and optimize a scalable Databricks-based data platform on Azure for an insurance and reinsurance environment. The role covers data pipeline development, Lakehouse and Medallion architecture, Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers, SAP and other source-system integration, data quality and governance, CI/CD, reporting, performance optimization, and preparation for AI and advanced analytics. The position requires several years of experience in a comparable role, strong Databricks and cloud data-platform experience, and knowledge of data modelling, databases, security, and access management.
