Description
The role conducts remote sensor operations for manned airborne and Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) missions, operating EO/IR, SWIR, radar, and associated mission systems independently. Responsibilities include mission planning, tactical sensor decision-making, target tracking, troubleshooting, data handling, near real-time and post-mission reporting, Level 1 processing, imagery intelligence extraction, and supporting RPAS trials and payload activities. The operator must work at an intermediate or proficient level, communicate effectively in live operations, maintain mission records, and mentor junior operators.
