Description
DNEG is hiring a Render Technical Director to support rendering and lighting tools, software, and workflows across VFX and feature animation productions. The role provides front-line technical support to lighting artists, troubleshoots render setups and DCC configurations, develops production assets and tools, contributes to automated testing and profiling, and supports USD, Hydra, Houdini/Solaris, OSL, and ML/AI rendering technologies. Candidates should have a degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant discipline, strong Python skills, practical lighting or rendering experience, familiarity with path tracing renderers, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
