Description
The Repair Engineer Designer performs reverse engineering, evaluation, and redesign of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder components for repair operations. The role develops 2D and 3D CAD models and production drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, applies tolerances and dimensional data, evaluates wear and failure modes, recommends cost-effective repair solutions, and releases drawings for production. The position requires mechanical engineering education or related experience, proficiency in SolidWorks, familiarity with AutoCAD and ERP systems, and the ability to collaborate with repair technicians, machinists, and operations personnel.
