Description
The Repair Technician evaluates, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and calibrates test measurement and diagnostic equipment across life science, RF/telecommunications, and semiconductor markets. The role performs component-level repairs, enters repair and calibration data into the SIMCO Main Computer System, prepares quotations and reports, completes training, and may assist other technicians. It requires an AA degree in Electrical Technologies, formal PMEL, or equivalent, at least four years of electronic repair and calibration education and experience, strong circuit theory and soldering skills, and laboratory work experience. The position is full-time, primarily based in a SIMCO laboratory or manufacturing environment or customer site, with possible domestic and international travel, and includes medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, and paid leave benefits.
