Description
Qualitate is hiring a full-time Energy Research Analyst to build its energy coverage from the ground up, reporting to the Director of Research. The role covers energy, utilities, clean energy, oil and gas, grid infrastructure, industrial capital expenditure, commodities, and the physical layer behind AI, producing company and market analyses, client-ready charts and scorecards, forward-looking insights, and thought leadership. The analyst will also support client and prospect conversations, contribute to research methodology, and use AI tools to analyze large datasets. The position requires 1–3 years of data-driven research experience, exposure to energy, utilities, or industrials, strong writing and communication skills, and SQL experience is strongly preferred. Compensation is $130,000–$170,000 base salary plus variable bonus and equity, with health coverage, flexible PTO, and paid holidays.
