Silicon Austria Labs is hiring an experienced Research and Technology Manager to lead its Magnetic Microsystem Technologies Research Unit in Villach, Austria. The role manages approximately 15 researchers and engineers, develops the unit’s applied research portfolio across TRL 1–6, oversees collaborative R&D projects, strengthens industry and academic partnerships, and represents the unit internally and externally. Candidates should have a technical university degree, preferably a PhD, relevant microsystem or magnetics experience, a record of applied research or technology development, and demonstrated experience acquiring and leading collaborative R&D projects and technical teams.
