Description
The Belopolski Research Group (QuantumX Labs) at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, is seeking Research Assistants to investigate topological quantum materials. The group focuses on discovering new topological quantum phases, exploring their physics, and applying them to various fields like electronics, photonics, quantum computing, catalysis, and biology. They utilize molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) for synthesizing atomically precise crystals, integrating them with two-dimensional materials, and characterizing them via transport and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES). The lab seeks enthusiastic researchers to synthesize novel quantum anomalous Hall phases, characterize alternate magnetics and p-wave magnets, pursue scalable wafer-scale moiré epitaxy, develop epitaxial superconductors for quantum computing, and integrate machine learning for automated high-throughput MBE.
