Description
The Gilbertie Lab at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support antimicrobial peptide research from benchtop experiments through clinical research. The role maintains laboratory operations and instrumentation, supports graduate students, organizes and cleans the laboratory, and orders supplies. Candidates must have U.S. citizenship, microbiology and BSL-2 experience, protein/peptide separation experience, drug discovery experience, and a relevant bachelor's degree; the position pays $18.00 per hour and averages 29 hours per week.
