Description
The Wistar Institute is hiring a Research Assistant to join Dr. Yulia Nefedova’s laboratory, which studies myeloid-cell biology in cancer, especially multiple myeloma, and identifies potential therapeutic targets. The role provides technical support through patient tissue processing, flow cytometry, isolation of human and mouse cells, and basic mouse colony maintenance. A bachelor’s degree in a science-related field is required, while laboratory experience and experience with mice, flow cytometry, and bioinformatics are preferred. The position is based in the University City area of Philadelphia.
