University West is hiring a Research Assistant in Cybersecurity to investigate how agentic AI frameworks support cyber threat detection, analysis, and handling, and how continuously adapting AI-intensive security systems affects cybersecurity and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on the AEGIR project, which studies the security and robustness of continuous agentic reasoning chains from threat identification to security action, in collaboration with RISE Research Institutes of Sweden AB and industry partners. The position requires an advanced-level degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or an equivalent field, at least 240 higher education credits, and strong English communication skills; experience with machine learning, IT/OT networks, AI architectures, cybersecurity regulations, research, and scientific writing is advantageous.
