Description
The University of Pittsburgh's Department of Bioengineering is seeking a Research Assistant Professor with a PhD or equivalent degree in bioengineering, biomedical engineering, computer science, health informatics, or a related discipline. The ideal candidate will have over two years of research experience, particularly in designing, developing, and evaluating digital health technologies such as mobile health (mHealth) systems, clinician- and patient-facing software applications, wearable-integrated sensing platforms, and research data infrastructure. Responsibilities include advancing research in digital health systems and translational biomedical technologies, focusing on integrating wearable and mobile technologies into clinical research workflows, human-centered design of healthcare software, and analyzing health data from various sources.
