North Carolina A&T State University is hiring a Research Assistant Professor for a 12-month non-tenure track appointment in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. The role combines interdisciplinary research, grant writing, publications, undergraduate and graduate gerontology and family and consumer sciences teaching, curriculum development, accreditation, program coordination, assessment, and service on university committees. Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. in Gerontology or a related discipline, a specialization in social gerontology or sociological perspectives on the life course, and a record of peer-reviewed research, grant writing, and extramural funding or scholarship.
