Description
Novel Microdevices is hiring a full-time, entry-level Research Associate to support the design, validation, manufacturing, and commercialization of in vitro diagnostics point-of-care molecular diagnostic assays for infectious pathogens. The role involves experimental design and analysis, GMP-scale-up of reagent manufacturing, laboratory support, and hands-on work with nucleic acid sample preparation, amplification, microfluidic technology, automation, and optical detection. Candidates need research or clinical laboratory experience, BSL-1 and BSL-2 laboratory experience, strong laboratory techniques, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant life science field; experience with nucleic acid methods, clinical samples, and microfluidic assays is desired. The position pays $70,000-$80,000 per year and requires no travel.
