Description
Technische Hochschule Deggendorf is hiring a part-time Research Associate for the Hopmold Project at the Technology Campus Hutthurm. The role develops and validates simulation models, material models, and material cards for injection-molded test specimens; analyzes raw-material and processing effects; develops plastic compounds with natural fibers; conducts extrusion and compounding trials; and characterizes hop fibers and reinforced biocomposites through mechanical, thermal, and rheological testing. Applicants need a university degree in a relevant technical or materials field, FEM simulation and modeling knowledge, plastics or composite-materials expertise, data-analysis skills, and strong German and English abilities. The position is limited to 35 hours and ends on 31.07.2029, with an application deadline of 20.09.2026 and a start date of 01.11.2026 subject to project approval.
