The University of Vechta is hiring two Research Associates (m/f/d) in the Department of Developmental Psychology for three-year, part-time 0.50 positions in Vechta, Lower Saxony. The roles support ongoing developmental psychology research, including international cross-cultural studies and a longitudinal study of socio-cognitive, epistemic, and scientific competencies in children and adolescents. Responsibilities include planning and evaluating studies, coordinating data collection, conducting quantitative analyses, collaborating with schools and international partners, teaching two units, and supervising student research assistants. Applicants need a completed university degree in psychology or a comparable field, strong English, and interest in empirical developmental psychology or education-related research; quantitative methods, R, SPSS, Mplus, data collection, school experience, scientific writing, and international travel are desirable.
