Description
The University of Siegen is seeking a Research Associate to join a DFG-funded project developing sustainable catalytic processes for bio-based raw materials. The role involves developing, synthesizing, and characterizing heterogeneous catalysts; conducting and evaluating catalytic reactions; investigating catalyst activity, selectivity, stability, and recyclability; collaborating with University of Hamburg partners; and contributing to publications and conferences. The position is full-time, fixed-term until December 31, 2029, with a starting date of January 1, 2027, and requires a relevant university degree, laboratory experience, strong English, and good German skills.
