Description
Bridgewater Associates is hiring a Data Engineer for its Asia Commodities team within Asia Strategies. The role owns vendor data relationships, transforms market data into analytical constructs, builds supply-demand balance-model inputs, maintains dashboards and monitoring tools, and develops scalable data pipelines for systematic commodities strategies. The engineer will also partner with investors and developers, incorporate AI/ML technologies, and develop expertise in Asia and Chinese commodities markets. The position requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong Python and SQL skills, modern data-platform experience, and willingness to work with Scala-based production systems. It is onsite four days per week at either the New York City campus or the Singapore office, with an expected annual base salary of $150,000–$200,000 and visa sponsorship.
