Montana State University is hiring one Research Associate - Field Research Program to manage and conduct applied agricultural field research at the Eastern Agricultural Research Center. The role involves establishing and maintaining research plots, collecting and analyzing data, supporting experimental design, preparing reports and manuscripts, operating agricultural equipment, and supervising seasonal employees and student workers. It is a one-year contract for an early-career scientist and requires a master’s degree in a relevant agricultural discipline, hands-on field research experience, statistical software experience, and the ability to obtain a Montana driver’s license and pesticide applicator license within three months of hire.
