Description
The University of Rostock is hiring a Research Associate to develop energy-efficient signal-processing and AI algorithms for electrically active implants, design and model hardware accelerators, integrate them into virtual prototypes, and collaborate with medical, biological, and engineering partners. The role is full-time, based at Campus Südstadt, and limited to the project duration until 30 June 2029, with an application deadline of 28 September 2026. It requires a relevant university degree, digital-circuit design knowledge, embedded-system programming, signal-processing and machine-learning knowledge, and willingness to pursue a PhD.
