TUD Dresden University of Technology is hiring a Research Associate, PhD Student, or PostDoc for a three-year multidimensional optical information processing project in the Chair of Measurement and Sensor System Techniques. The role involves experimental and simulation-based research on programmable optical diffractive neural networks, MEMS phase modulators, multimode-fiber-based routers and multiplexers, and related quantum- and Internet-of-Things applications. Candidates need a relevant university degree, strong German and English skills, knowledge of software development, deep learning, computational imaging, and Fourier optics, with quantum optics, waveguide optics, multiplane light conversion, MATLAB, or Python advantageous.
