Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics is hiring a Research Coordinator in Detroit for a limited-term, full-time support staff role on the LIFE-2 multi-site study focused on birth outcomes and neighborhood environment impacts on Black families. The coordinator will manage daily research operations, IRB submissions and amendments, staff training and supervision, Qualtrics survey creation, data and agreement tracking, recruitment and medical record abstraction support, and on-site coordination with hospital partners in metro Detroit. The role requires relevant post-bachelor coursework or a master’s degree plus 1–3 years of related research experience, with preferred experience in perinatal health studies, staff supervision, large datasets, recruitment of vulnerable populations, and tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro, and SPSS.
