Description
The University of Southern California is hiring a Research Data Engineer to build and advance secure computing capabilities for sensitive research data. The role designs secure data pipelines, data architectures, workflows, and compliance documentation; supports faculty and researchers with data management and advanced computing; automates research processes; and partners with cybersecurity and technical teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent combined experience, at least two years of relevant experience, knowledge of federal compliance and research data practices, and experience with Linux, scripting, databases, data modeling, ETL, and secure computing environments. The annual base salary range is $126,077.70 to $150,000.00.
