UCB is hiring a Research Scientist focused on Macrophage Immunology to join its Immunology Research team in Slough, United Kingdom, with work in Windlesham from 2027. The role involves designing and conducting in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo experiments; developing translational assays and complex cell culture models; applying immunology techniques such as coculture, 3D models, and flow cytometry; analyzing RNA sequencing and proteomics data; building Python, SQL, and R pipelines; and presenting findings. Candidates need a PhD or equivalent in immunology or a related scientific field, post-PhD experience, strong immunology and disease-biology knowledge, experience with high-dimensional and multi-omics data, macrophage-biology experience, and proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or R. The position follows a hybrid-first approach with 40% office time.
