Crosby is hiring a Research Engineer to bridge research and production by turning validated AI methods into reliable, production-grade features. The role covers building and scaling RAG pipelines and agentic workflows, establishing RL training infrastructure, fine-tuning language models for legal tasks, developing evaluation and monitoring systems, and collaborating with product, backend, and legal teams. Candidates need at least three years of professional software engineering experience, strong Python skills, and familiarity with post-training techniques, distributed model training, VERL, vLLM, LLM APIs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
