Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5-8 years of AI experience
Preferred Qualifications: Fluent in Python (Go a plus) for research workflows: training pipelines, eval harnesses, data processing, statistical analysis.
Comfortable with transformers, RLHF/DPO/RL for agents, eval frameworks (Inspect, lm-eval-harness, or equivalent), prompt optimization, judge models, and agent frameworks.
Takes pride in measurable results, defending benchmarks and metrics.
Comfortable working in subjective, probabilistic systems, able to analyze noise, confounds, distribution shifts, judge bias, and selection effects.
Enjoys diving deep into complex patterns and identifying rare failure modes.
Has intuitive understanding of model behaviors, updating intuitions based on actual results and referencing past knowledge.
An independent operator with strong leadership presence, capable of scoping work independently and influencing others.
Capable of rapid deployment without sacrificing rigor, knowing which areas allow for quick cuts and which require careful attention.
