Normal Computing is hiring a Research Engineer to advance agentic large language models and reinforcement learning for its semiconductor design automation platform. The role involves building multi-agent systems, research prototypes, RL environments and evaluations, datasets from silicon collateral, and production-quality research code, while collaborating with engineering to ship improvements. Candidates should have a PhD in computer science, artificial intelligence, or machine learning or equivalent research experience, strong Python and machine learning experience, and experience with evaluation environments, reward models, and EDA tools.
