JetBrains is hiring a Research Engineer for its Agentic Models team to build and maintain SFT and RL post-training pipelines, train and adapt LLMs for multi-step coding agents, develop evaluation and simulation environments, analyze training results, and work with distributed GPU and MapReduce infrastructure. The role requires extensive LLM training experience, deep PyTorch and LLM training-stack expertise, strong ML fundamentals, end-to-end project ownership, and at least three years of Python experience.
